The mistakes we haven't learned from

On the eve of the anniversary of the one of the biggest attempt to challenge the sovereignty  of our country i.e. infamous 26/11 I am feeling restless. Reason for that being the complacency of our masses and our government in the fact that by crucifying one Ajmal Kasab they think justice have been served and we have taken every possible step to eliminate any further aggression of this type against our homeland.

Is it really? That's the question we need to ask our self. Of course the answer to it is we afraid the most. No whatever assurances are made to us by our so called elected representative we know the truth. Terrorists have shown again and again that they can strike without much fuss to the heightened security measures. German Bakery, Delhi High Court blasts prove that.

Why is this? Don't we feel anger? Are we so much influenced by the teachings of Lord Buddha and M.K. Gandhi. The answer is still a big NO. The reason for this incompetency is lack of political will in our decision makers. Had they have 20% of the courage of Israel's ruling fraternity they would have wiped out that terrorist training camp where Ajmal Kasab got his training from world's map. But that's our plight that we have to be ruled by these incompetent, impotent people even eunuch (no offence intended) looks far more masculine.

THE CHANGE WE NEED

Have you ever imagine what would be it like if we had to earn our rights. Not the basic ones but which is kind of luxuries to us and we didn't think about them twice. What about voting right. Corrupt politicians implement anti people policies to consolidate their vote bank instead of looking at bigger picture. it seems in today's politics the people in power have only two motto
1. make as much money as possible from public office.
2. make a few decisions and policies to consolidate your vote bank.

Because in today election lock jam around 25 to 30 % of total vote share is enough to take you through. So I think the right to vote must be made a privilege instead of right. This would serve the purpose of eliminating illegal immigrants to participate in our democracy and also would discourage the mobilization of the cattle votes. As we all know these cattle votes are directed by the means of bribes and booze. There should be a process for people to avail the privilege in form of aptitude test, if you have served for country in any form. It would further encourage literacy to avail this privilege. As we all know we don't value those things which we got without effort. So to make people realize the value of their vote make it 'exclusive'.

Upside Down

Today was watching a televised debate on the newest controversy at hand P. Chidambram statement about middle class of country. What I didn't understand was that none of the people on panel was from middle class or lower middle class. Anyhow everybody was playing their part. Ruling party member was defending by saying he was misinterpreted and of course Opposition was there to oppose. Then came the so called social activist because he was introduced so and I have no idea which cause he represent. then begin their so  called debate. Which was of more of noise then facts. This got me to think did some one so high in the governance in right mind would speak this gibberish talk. But we can't blame him because we are the one who either gave our precious votes to these guys or didn't even bother to vote. Because of all this price hike and uncovering of scams had put them all into a pinch it's just their frustration which is getting better of them. This was the words of the person who think for the profits of his then to the interest of the people. When these ministers take oath they pledge to serve the people and now they are being served as these corrupt people's breakfast lunch and dinner. Irony isn't it this country gives the blueprint of governance in Chanakya's Arthasastra that a country is prosper when it's ruler sleeps in barns and it's people sleeps in bed. But what we see is all opposite the President is spending millions on her leisure trips while hundreds of it's people are dying of hunger. We all had this coming because when you got freedom by pleading and praying instead of struggle then you are not free at all. You find someone to rule you and let him loot you without a fight or any apparent resistant. They will say whatever they want because you shouldn't talk because you are not free you are still in shackles and you should keep your head down and pay whatever they want so that they can add some zeroes to their bank account.

Trying my hand on a new thing and what better way than posting something I truly believe. There are few things out there in which you have your utmost faith. 'Faith' this five letter word had has a strong hold over our life. It's the faith which makes a child invincible when he holds his father's hand. So then comes the question what I have faith in. Being a skeptical it's basic nature to put a question mark after everything. But it feels good when I am certain of something. Today's along with visionary Nikola Tesla shares birthday one of my dearest friend Kaushal Khati. Although right now he is having questions about himself, but 'faith I have in him , he dare not to defy'. A friend, younger brother I never had. Always there to kick my ass with or without reason. Some of the few people from my college life I really respect and believe in. A straight arrow and hard working soul who think he is too smart to be taken advantage of. I have said something to him and I will recite it here " I will be the person in the front row, clapping loudest and longest when you achieve your dream. " Happy b'day my pirated Chinese. May the coming 12 months bring the fruits of your unrelentless hard work and girl of your dream. Because you deserve everything you aspire for. "
